Provide a list of supported adapters

      Description

      Currently, nowhere on the website or in the manual does the project provide a list of the specific adapters supported. One should not have to browse through the code to find this information!

        There actually is a list of supported drivers.

        How you found that is beyond me, Steve. That sort of information should not be buried in chapter 3 in a section on configuration – it should be in a list of features in the introduction, so that users can find it immediately and determine if they can use the project in the first place.

        Yes I share your opinion. This should be a primary information in the documentation. I will see if I can change that.

        Now the supported vendors are mentioned in the introduction and there is another part in the platforms chapter providing more information about the specific platforms for each supported vendor.
